Phoenix

This is one of my proudest pieces. A limited edition screen print of a phoenix holding a trans symbol, rising up in the colours of the trans pride flag. To me it's all about resilience, rebirth and the joy of becoming who you truly are.

I printed it by hand at Ink Spot Press using a blue colour-blend with neon pink and black ink. Every print is signed by me and numbered as part of an edition of 50.

Each one is printed onto a page from a book donated by trans people who fell out of love with its transphobic author. There's something really special about giving those pages a new life. All profit from sales goes straight back into My Genderation CIC to keep our work going.
